What is Monde Selection?

Monde Selection has 48 years history, an independent international authoritative food contest like "Nobel Prize of food" established in 1961 by EC and Belgian Ministry of Economy .The products already marketed only are allowed its entry and participated from all over the world.

The selection panel makes evaluation of products with severe criteria including quality and taste. Grand Gold, Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals will be awarded to products after strict judgement. The Grand Gold Medal is very honourable and is awarded to only products which score over 95 points out of 100.

The reasons Gingasui won the grand gold medal for 5 consecutive years.

1.Taste "Smooth & Sweet"

Original water of Gingasui is so called fossilized water existing underneath of Kirishima in Southern Kyushu. Fossilized water is the water penetrated through the deep strata of rocks in millions of years. It was naturally filtered by penetrating through the rocks and contains minerals in good balance.

Especially Gingasui contains rich in silica (SiO2). That is the one of the reasons why it tastes so good.

2.Assurance and Safety

Our production plant is located at the foot of Kirishima Mountains in Kobayashi, in Miyazaki prefecture. Fossilized water which is pollution-free itself is far better quality than Kirishima Rekkasui which was approved first in Japan as natural water potable without any sterilization and also chosen in 100 renowned waters. We enforce 90℃ heat sterilization plus several filtering including 2μm one just before bottling this fossilized water for safety reason. Also we use environment friendly ozone solution which turns into just water and oxygen to wash and sterilizing bottles instead of commonly used sodium hypochlorite solution.

Quality control is thoroughly carried out by conducting regular bacteriological examinations in 1, 6 and 12 months intervals on each sample from every manufactured batch.

3.Philosophy

With great zeal for producing the best mineral water in Japan and the rest of the world, we started to search for best original water then studied and observed hundreds of production plants throughout the nation. Consequently we have built up impeccable Gingasui plant. We have set up production line on upper floor in terms of hygiene control, that repels germs and bacteria from outside ground. This also gains ascendancy over water leakage commonly seen at drinking water plant. We are proud of our clean and decent water production plant where you are not able to see even a drop of water on the floor. We make every effort with our technology to produce prominent water. Each member of production team has carrying our founder’s spirit and enthusiasm without any compromise to produce "Fine tasty mineral water which satisfies every consumer, make healthy people even healthier". We throw our heart into every bottle by bottle.
